Jenny David is a California native who was raised on the Central Coast where she fell in love with the ocean and the surfing lifestyle at an early age. Her connection to the natural world led her to a passion for film and telling stories. Jenny's filming, editing, and documentary style focus on capturing the magic and truth in the moment through a powerful and unique feminine lens.

Jenny is an ocean and outdoor enthusiast and has been dedicated to sharing this passion with others through business and film. Since 2010, Jenny has served as Media Director for Surf Happens, and Executive Director of the Surf Happens Foundation.

Jenny studied Film Production in Santa Barbara and uses her videography and editing to tell inspiring stories. In 2009 she produced a short film about plastic pollution in the ocean which received the EDC Green Short of the year. The film was shown at local schools and launched the ocean stewardship portion of the Surf Happens Foundation.
